Beyoncé Knowles Slams Being Thin

Beyoncé Knowles in a recent interview felt that society puts a lot of pressure on girls to get thin.

Beyoncé lost 20 pounds for her role in the movie, "Dreamgirls." She was quoted, "There's so much pressure on young girls to be thin, it's unbelievable. You should be thinking about building up your character and having fun at that age, not how much you weigh."

I agree totally with her. Putting pressure on yourself to get thin to be attractive to men is not the greatest idea in the world.

And think about it for the long term... you can't keep doing that because of the damage you do to your body. If any man ONLY wants you because you are thin -- what is going to happen to him when you develop medical problems? How about when you gain back to your normal weight?

My biggest advice is to listen to
Beyoncé and try to be the best you are... for yourself. Not some guy.

And my second biggest (unsolicted) advice is to find a way to make YOURSELF happy. Nobody else is going to fill that part. You are responsible for this...
